Hire Education Workshops
Hire-Education workshops seek to provide students with the skills necessary to excel in the workplace. This workshop explores skills related to building a resume, successful interview techniques, as well as general employee skills.
Resumes are usually the first impression you make to potential employers and the gateway to a first interview. Learn the best ways to catch an employer’s eye by showcasing your strengths and valuable experience in this interactive workshop.
Learn strategies that will give you the edge in an interview. How to prepare for, practice, and approach an interview with a future employer are all skills covered in this workshop. This includes resources to continue improving techniques.
For students eligible for on-campus employment, workshops will include topics that relate to general employee skills. Materials include PPCC employment policies, procedures and work study expectations in the workplace, as well as valuable skills that will benefit any future career.
Join us for this interactive workshop that provides strategies and resources to approach employment on campus and beyond.
