
HLC Accreditation
Pikes Peak Community College is accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). PPCC has been an accredited college since 1975.
The HLC (Higher Learning Commission) was founded in 1895, its mission to advance a higher quality of learning and accredits 19 states in the north-central region. PPCC was re-accredited in 2014. You can learn more about PPCC’s accreditation at the Higher Learning Commission
Specialized Accreditation
In addition to HLC accreditation, PPCC has 11 different programs requiring specialized accreditation. All programs that require specialized accreditation have continuously maintained accreditation.
