There are also many offerings to help inside and outside of the classroom. Student Services help you manage the many demands and challenges students face in life and at college. Services that help you get started:

Enrollment Services:

Applying and registering for classes at PPCC is a multi-step process. The Enrollment Services Offices can help sort all those steps out for you. Offices are located at all three campuses. The Testing Center is committed to providing exceptional, accessible and comprehensive testing services for Pikes Peak Community College students and the surrounding community. Explore and accomplish your goals through academic advising. Whether transferring to a four-year college or university or going directly into the workforce, the friendly advisors in the Advising and Testing Centers can help you gain the information you need to complete your degree or certificate. Financial Aid:

Earning a quality education at PPCC costs about one-third of what you would pay at other in-state four-year colleges and universities. We can help you pay for college by offering multiple types of financial aid opportunities. View how you can get help paying for college.

Career and Retention Services:

The PPCC Career and Retention Services Office is committed to helping our students, faculty and staff with resources and programs designed to foster student development, retention and success. Career and Retention Services staff members are happy to refer students to campus and community resources. Scholarship Opportunities:

The PPCC Foundation Office awards over $500,000 in scholarship money to nearly 300 students annually, and the number of recipients is growing every year. Learn about scholarships.

Military and Veterans Programs:

Our mission is to empower military personnel, veterans, and their families to achieve their academic, career, and personal goals.  We deliver quality educational opportunities to active duty, veterans, and their family members by providing efficient, effective, and relevant services contributing to student success. The MVP office staff of experienced and dedicated personnel are ready to assist our military students in utilizing their military service tuition assistance and VA education benefits as well as provide other on-site services such as military/veteran specific advising, testing and assistance with the enrollment process.  MVP has offices located at Fort Carson and Peterson Air Force Base where excellent services are provided to active duty students and their dependents. Student Success Seminar:

The “Student Success Seminar” session provides you with strategies that can help you succeed in college. All students are highly encouraged to attend. Learn life and study skills that will put you on the road to success and teach you how to seamlessly navigate college life. Find information and register for the seminar.

PPCC Bookstore:

The PPCC Bookstore carries all the books and supplies you will need to be successful in your classes. Visit the bookstore for textbooks, tool kits, computer accessories, PPCC apparel and gifts. Visit the PPCC bookstore.

Services that help you with your classwork:

Tutoring Centers:

Tutoring is a great way to raise your grades and become a better learner. Our tutoring centers are here to help you become the most successful student possible. Peer and faculty tutors are available at all campuses with free “drop-in” tutoring at the Learning Commons (Tutoring and Library services). Library Services:

Successful college students know the importance of visiting their school library. There they find everything from casual reading materials to help on finding research and reference resources. Our friendly librarians are always able and willing to help students succeed by providing instruction and information. Learn about the PPCC library.

TRIO/Student Support Services (SSS):

The TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) federal grant program provides services to first generation, low-income and disabled students. Qualified participants receive support to help them overcome social, academic and cultural barriers to higher education. Services include dedicated private and group math and English tutoring, professional and peer mentoring, scholarship search and application assistance, four-year college transfer help including college campus visits, and social and cultural events. ACCESSibility Services:

The ACCESSibility Services Office assists students with disabilities to self-advocate for equitable access to their academic environment. Learn how our disability specialists can help you.

Faculty Offices:

Our faculty members not only help you in the classroom, but are available to assist you succeed in college outside the classroom. Get more information about your academic interests from the instructors who actually teach them. Copy Center:

Students, the Copy Center can make copies of your class notes, reports, and presentations – done quickly and at a reasonable cost. In some cases, copy orders can even be submitted electronically, visit our copy center page to learn more.

Services for your health and safety:

Campus Police:

Our Campus Police Department employs law enforcement professionals, who have previously served on surrounding law enforcement agencies. All of our campuses have officers on site. Our officers are dedicated to making PPCC a safe and pleasant environment. Learn about our Campus Police.

Counseling Center:

The PPCC Counseling Center specializes in mental health counseling and connecting students to community resources within the Colorado Springs community. Our counselors are licensed and certified to address school and life issues. Learn about our Counseling Center resources.

Behavioral Intervention Team:

The PPCC Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) supports a safe learning and working environment for the college community. Based on submitted reports, the BIT identifies and monitors concerning behaviors, and develops intervention strategies when deeper issues may be present. BIT’s goal is to identify student issues before incidents become crises. Learn about the Behavioral Intervention Team.

Report an Incident:

PPCC wants you to have the best college experience possible. Your health and safety is our priority. However, when you feel it necessary to report a concern or complaint about your campus environment or something that you experienced or witnessed, please notify us.

PPCC Fitness Center:

The PPCC Fitness Center is committed to the idea that taking care of yourself through exercise is essential to your success. Fully equipped with cardiovascular/weight training equipment, the Fitness Center offers free access after a mandatory orientation. Take advantage of our fitness center.

PPCC Child Development Centers:

The PPCC Child Development Centers offer a comprehensive educational program for children aging from 6 weeks to 5 years of age and support student success by providing high quality care for the children of students and staff. Learn about the Child Development Center.

Weather Closure:

Is the college open or closed? Pikes Peak community college strives to put your health and safety first. When the Colorado Springs area is experiencing inclement weather, the college may make the decision to close, usually by 6:30 am. During a closure for inclement weather, there are no activities and there is no access, other than for essential personnel. Learn about campus closures.
