Classes will be offered in-person. We will continue to offer Online, Remote Real-Time, Hybrid and Hyflex options but are excited that all of our traditional on-campus classes (Classroom Based) will be available.

Our classes generally fit into five categories:
Remote Real-Time Classes Description
Class will be taught in real-time, with 100% remote delivery at scheduled times. There is no scheduled in person attendance. Class will be 100% real-time live meetings delivered remotely via technology.

When setting your preferences, select PPCC Virtual Campus. To quickly find a list of Remote Real-Time classes, click Edit Filters. Choose the option "Live: Remote Only" from the listed Section Filters. Be prepared to attend class remotely (via Zoom or similar software) at the days & times the class is scheduled.

Use the Advanced Search and look for live remote classes by selecting “PPCC Virtual Campus” from the Campus options to show only live remote classes. Be prepared to attend class remotely (via Zoom or similar software) at the days & times the class is scheduled.

Hyflex Classes Description
Student Experience: A highly flexible experience where the course is delivered entirely remotely in real-time, entirely in person in real-time, or a combination of the two. For Hyflex with Lab classes, lab will require in-person attendance

When setting your preferences, select your preferred physical campus locations. To quickly find a list of Hyflex classes, click Edit Filter. Hyflex classes will have the word “Hyflex” displayed for the room number and the campus displayed for where you can choose to attend the class in-person. Your instructor will communicate the room number for the class if you choose to attend on-campus.

Online Classes Description
The course meets online with no expectation for on-campus (in-person) meetings. Portions of the course may include optional remote (online in real time) instruction.

Look for online classes by selecting “PPCC Online Campus” and/or “PPCC CCCOnline” when setting your preferences. To quickly find a list of Online classes, click Edit Filter. Classes do not have a day or time and the room number will show as “Online”

Classroom Based Description

Hybrid Classes Description
Class will have some live in-person components, and some on-line components. Percentage of on-line versus in-person can vary by class.

Look for classes by campus. When setting your preferences, select your preferred physical campus locations. To quickly find a list of Hybrid classes, click Edit Filter. Hybrid classes show similarly to on-campus classes as they have a day & time with a classroom location where the class will meet. To see if the class is a hybrid class, select “View Details” and look for under the section notes to see if the course is hybrid.
